About the Event
This is the time of year to take out those walking shoes and start thinking about training for an event and getting your team together. Check out the Third Annual Willamette Valley Relay — Exclusively for walkers, July 14-15, 2006.

Another event in its third year is the Lacamas Lake Road Race. This year it has added a 5k walk/run to the day’s events on May 29, 2006.

Southwest Washington Medical Center’s Passport to Wellness program has expanded with additional walks, classes, and health talks.

You can also team up for America’s Walk for Diabetes. Walks take place in neighborhoods and parks in nearly 300 locations across the country. Routes range from 1 to 6 miles.
